South Dublin Childcare Committee are responsible for administering the following Funding Schemes in the South County Dublin area on behalf of the Department of Children and Youth Affairs (DCYA). The funding schemes come under the following three headings:

1. ECCE (Early Childhood Care & Education) Scheme

2. CETS (Childcare Education & Training Support) Scheme

The Office of the Minister for Children & Youth Affairs (OMCYA) is introducing a new childcare support scheme, the Childcare Education & Training Support (CETS) scheme, from September 2010.
The CETS scheme will support the childcare needs of participants in training and educational courses operated by FAS and Vocational Educational Committees (VECs).

3.CCS (Community Childcare Subvention) Programme

The Community Childcare Subvention Scheme (CCSS) was replaced by the CCS in September 2010. The CCS continues to be restricted to community/not-for-profit childcare services. The CCS Scheme continues to support disadvantaged parents and provides support for parents in low paid employment and training or education.
