SDCCC Training for Childminders:

Quality Awareness Programme (QAP)

Dates: Saturday 12th June - 9am to 4pm, Wednesday 16th June - 6.30pm to 8.30pm and Thursday 17th June - 6.30pm to 8.30pm

Areas: Why chose Childminding?, Child Development, Hygiene/Health & Safety, Wellbeing of the Child, Play

Training Provider: IPPA

Accreditation: Certficiate of Attendance ONLY

Please download the enrolment form and send to SDCCC. This a FREE training event but requires a 35 euro refundable deposit.

Please note: If you intend to apply for a Childminders Development Grand (CMDG) you will be required to complete this course.

Many Kinds of Smart! (Network Activity)

Date: Wednesday 23rd June

Time: 6.30pm to 8.30pm

Course Outline: Children learn in a number of different ways and in this workshop attendees will discover the nine kinds of smart: spatial, interpersonal, naturalist, logical-mathematical, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, linguistic, and intrapersonal - whilst learning many activities to support these mulitiple intelligence and learning styles of children
